Prototype SMT Stencil

It was made using the CAD file you provided. However, you can also use Gerber files for this. Therefore, it is very effective and efficient to use.
We recommend using this template for hand printing. They are cost-effective and efficient.

Frameless SMT Stencil

Frameless stencils or foils are 100% laser cut sheets. You can use them in reusable frameworks. In contrast, it offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution.
Therefore, it is best suited for short runs and prototype PCB assembly. Also, you can use it for hand and machine welding.

Electroformed SMT Stencils:

If you need stencils for the most precise application, electroformed SMT stencils are your best solution. They are templates made from electroformed sheets or foils.
For accuracy, you can use stencils to permanently install electroformed SMT stencils. Also, it is made of nickel.
In comparison, nickel has a much lower coefficient of friction.

Prototype Stencil Kit

If you are new to hand printing, we recommend purchasing a prototype SMT stencil kit. Typically, the kit contains all the necessary tools for hand printing.
Prototype templates (made with your CAD or Gerber files) are included with the regular prototype template kit. Plus, you get a doctor blade, high-quality solder paste, and temperature markers that are perfect for the application. Finally, it will also contain gadgets for picking and pinions for carrying.
